Positives: The service: front desk, waiter in lobby and
Negatives: I could find nothing wrong with the Algonquin hotel.
Comments: The Algonquin hotel is in a class by itself. It is an old, charming, well furnished hotel, still looking as it did in the 1900s. It is clean, comfortable and in a great midtown location, near theaters, restaurants, shopping and many tourist attractions. The staff is helpful, friendly and very professional. There is also a real cat in the lobby.

Negatives: No hot water in the shower.
Comments: They give you the least desirable room. For the second time, there was no hot water for the shower and the stopper in the sink was not fixed after notifying the front desk. The last review<BR/>I stated that this hotel should not be a 4 star, but downgraded to 3 stars. That way I will not get this hotel again.
